We are one of Philadelphia's few insurance-based practices with dedicated eating disorder specialists. We see clients in person in Rittenhouse Square and virtually across PA and NJ โ and we're in-network with IBX and most Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO plans.
Struggling with an eating disorder is often about so much more than food. It's about the deep-rooted beliefs, past experiences, and societal pressures that shape how you view your body and your worth. Whether you're dealing with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, exercise addiction, or poor body image, we are here to support you with kindness, respect, and a commitment to your healing journey.
We believe you are the expert on your own life โ your experiences, your feelings, and your struggles. That's why we walk alongside you, offering care that is individualized and tailored to your needs, helping you rediscover peace with food and your body.
If you're ready to heal but unsure where to start, you are welcome here. And if you're still uncertain about recovery, we believe there's always hope for change โ and our therapists are here to support you every step of the way.
Our therapy is rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES) principles and a weight-inclusive approach. We don't focus on weight loss or body perfection โ we help you develop a healthier relationship with food and your body, regardless of size.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps you recognize and challenge distorted thoughts about food and your body, reframing them into more realistic and compassionate perspectives. It also teaches practical coping strategies to reduce harmful behaviors.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages you to accept difficult emotions rather than avoid them. We focus on building psychological flexibility, mindfulness, and self-compassion โ helping you take meaningful steps toward your values.
If you've tried CBT before and want something different, let us know. Our clinicians have specialized training in somatic, existential, feminist relational, and psychodynamic approaches โ and can be eclectic in their work with you.
Not everyone who struggles with food or body image meets the criteria for a specific diagnosis โ and that's okay. Many people find their quality of life compromised by obsessive thoughts about food, exercise, or their bodies even without a formal diagnosis. Therapy can still be incredibly beneficial. You deserve support, and we're here to provide it.
Every therapist below has specialized training and experience in eating disorder treatment โ many from residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care.
