How we work

Evidence-based approaches, tailored to you.

We primarily use CBT and ACT for anxiety treatment, often layering in mindfulness and somatic work. If you've tried one of these before and want something different, just let us know โ€” our therapists are eclectic and can draw from a range of approaches.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps you identify the distorted thoughts that fuel anxiety โ€” and replace them with more balanced, realistic ones. It also uses exposure techniques to help you gradually face situations that trigger anxiety, building confidence over time.

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy helps you stop fighting anxiety and start living alongside it. Using mindfulness and acceptance strategies, ACT teaches you to observe anxious feelings without letting them control your choices โ€” and to move forward guided by your values instead.

Other Approaches

Our therapists also draw from somatic, expressive, existential, feminist relational, and psychodynamic theories โ€” especially helpful for anxiety rooted in past experiences, relationships, or body image concerns.
